Introduction:
Organosilanes basic structure is RnSi(OR)4-n, wherein "R" is an alkyl, aryl, or other organofunctional group and "OR" is a methoxy, ethoxy, or acetoxy group.
Phenyl silanes are a group of phenyl-containing silicon compounds.
Application:
YokoSil™ P1E may be used in a variety of applications:
1. Mineral Fillers: as a surface modifier for the aluminum trihydrate (ATH) used as a filler in halogen-free flame-retardant (HFFR) cable insulation
2. Silicones: as a crosslinker in high-temperature silicone elastomers
3. Catalysts: as an electron donor ("A-donor") in the polymerization of polypropylene.
