Introduction:
SiSiB® PC3100 is an epoxy-functional silane, it is a clear, light straw liquid. SiSiB® PC3100 may used as a coupling agent in polysulfide and polyurethane caulks and sealants, in mineral-filled or glass-reinforced thermosets and thermoplastics, and in glass roving size-binders. It is particularly employed as an adhesion-promoting additive in waterborne systems, e.g. improving the adhesion of acrylic latex sealants.
Application:
SiSiB® PC3100 Typical Benefits:
Improves dry and wet strength in cured composites reinforced with glass fiber rovings.
Enhances wet electrical properties of epoxy-based encapsulate and packaging materials.
Eliminates the need for a separate primer in polysulfide and urethane sealants.
Improves adhesion in waterborne acrylic sealants and in urethane and epoxy coatings.
SiSiB® silanes are versatile materials used in a wide range of applications including:
Silane Coupling Agent, Silane Adhesion Promoter, Silane Hydrophobing Agent, Silane Dispersing Agent, Silane Crosslinking Agent, Silane Moisture Scavenger, Polypropylene Catalyst "Donor" Silane, Silicate Stabilizer, Polyurethane Endcapper Silane, Silane Drying Agent, Silane Curing Agent, Silane Reinforcer, Silylating Agent, Silane Reducing Agent, Silyl Building Blocks and Synthons etc.
